Such a shame that these younger physicians aren’t taught to be compassionate when someone may have an illness such as cancer.....there are physicians who were taught kindness in unfortunate patient situations and he is not one of them.

He seemed to have little concern for my issues and ignored my phone calls to his office.
I had a GREAT experience with Dr. Sohal. He is the only one to have diagnosed me correctly, after years of being mismanaged by other GI docs in the area. I FINALLY have found relief! Dr. Sohal sat with me for over 45 minutes, had great bedside manner, and genuinely seemed to care. He explained things to me in a way that was helpful and not patronizing. I'm surprised by the negative comments. My experience was great! I drove from CANADA to see Dr. Sohal because the wait here was 9 months to see a specialist! He spent a whole hour with me letting me tell him the WHOLE story. He asked great questions and assured me we'd get to the bottom of things and he was on my team. His administrator went above an beyond. My husband and I were shocked at the good service. I still drive to see him. He was great.
Not sure who the person below met but I met amy amazing doctor who helped me with my stomach issues. I've been uncomfortable for years until I met Dr. Sohal. The office was clean and modern and the staff was excellent. I'm happy I found him and would recommend him to my family and friends.
ZERO STARS!!! I wish I found reviews for Dr. Sohal before I went to him... I initially went to him because I was having unbearable stomach pain and my doctor diagnosed me with H. Pylori. She treated me but wanted me to go to Buffalo GI to make sure I saw a specialist, someone who was more knowledgable about the subject and was able to run more testing.
