Dr Parke and her staff are Excellent! MLB RN
Dr. Parke is very poorly informed about menopause symptoms, and about how the relevant hormones work, and what hormone replacement is designed to address. She's missing some very basic information. It's hard to understand how someone could get certified to prescribe hormones while being so misinformed. I had to look elsewhere for competent and knowledgeable help.
Dr. Parke sees myself and my children. She has established a relationship with us and I appreciate that she picks up on cues, asks questions, does not make things complicated at all, and her direct approach to feedback and recommendations. She has established herself with the locals and is very personable and friendly. It is a little hard to see Dr Parke on urgent issues because she is part time and is on high demand but overall she is my primary preferred health care professional.
Waited 1 ? hours to see her. I was a new patient and had all my records. She was not very friendly and let me know that she did not approve of advice that my family doctor of 15 years had given me. In other words, she failed to listen to me and what I had experienced in 71 years. My husband had a new patient appt. with her, but we cancelled after my negative experience with her. She needs to listen when an informed patient speaks.
Takes the time to really listen
My experience with Dr. Parke and her staff has been extraordinary over the past 4 years. She is that very rare Doctor these days, who truly practices the Art of Medicine. Her nurse Ben is outstanding, responsive and kind. She is by far the most competent Primary Care Physician that I have ever seen. I have the upmost confidence in her keen skills as a diagnostician. Perhaps what is most striking about Dr. Parke is her genuine caring, concern and compassion for her patients. Rare indeed.
