Unfortunately this was my first time seeing Dr Keeney and I thought she was very rude. She tried to tell me that I didn’t have a Procedure that I did have. As she was looking through my notes she kept saying to me. “ I don’t see anything here that says you had that procedure” after asking her to look again two more times she seen it. She then got an attitude and rest of the appointment was very uncomfortable. She may be a good Doctor but unfortunately I didn’t have that experience.
Dr. Keeney made me and my husband so at ease after being diagnosed with breast cancer. After my report from my biopsy I was so scared . I called the Dr. Keeney's office and they took me in that same week. She explained how my cancer could be treated with surgery, radiation and medication. After the surgery in which she did a fantastic job I was told all my margins were cleared. It has been a year now of being cancer free. She continues to see on a regular basis and eases my worries. Great DR
Dr. Keeney's bedside manner to me was beyond horrible. Told me I was wasting her time, and barely examined me. Told me what my primary was ordering was wrong and to stop. Down right Rude! Never would recommend her to anyone!!!
Dr. Keeney took me as a patient on an emergency basis a year ago. I've seen her every three months for the past year. She is an absolutely wonderful physician. She is knowledgeable, competent and patient centered. Every time I went for a visit, I was surprised that she remembered details about me and my family. She made me feel important and I didn't worry one bit about my health condition in her capable hands. She is a true example of what a medical doctor should be.
Dr. Keeney examined my breast which is very painful following a breast biopsy 2 months ago. I communicated symptoms of nausea, dizziness and fatigue. The doctor touched the incision location and said that it was not hot or red therefore I did not have a breast infection and refused to look at photos I had taken of the breast over the period following surgery. She stated this breast infection is all in your head and wouldn't pursue further diagnostic steps (e.g. scanning, blood tests).
Dr. Keeney has a very pleasant manner. She was accommodating w/scheduling. I had lumpectomy which did not get all the cancer. That happens, but most upsetting was hearing it from the Oncologist I was sent to and not Dr. Keeney. Following 2nd lumpectomy I have had multiple complications including 6 cm seroma x 4 yrs, fat necrosis removal, and now a very large internal scar which has adhered my skin to my chest wall and is disfiguring what's left of my breast and limiting motion in my arm.
