Love Dr. Shaneyfelt - very helpful and down to Earth. I've been a patient for two years, through one difficult pregnancy, and Dr. Shaneyfelt has been fantastic. I started going to after she was recommended by an old boss AND three different friends. Her staff has always been kind and easy to get a hold of, too. I highly recommend her.
I just turned 55 in June 2015. She has not done a pap smear on me in the last 2 years! What is that? I have Medicare & Anthem/BC. Medicare became primary once I was out of work for 2 years thanks to a drunk driver. I am getting punished with bad healthcare, that obviously does not cover a pap smear. Do we all get treated like we are 86 when we are 53, 54...55? She did not even ask me if I wanted to pay out of pocket and as a woman OBGYN, you would think she would want woman to get checked.
