Dr. Dobay took me under his wing as a transfer from Dr. Shearer. He delivered my daughter and has seen me ever since. I love his humor, he always answers all of my questions with exact detail as whats to happen with a procedure or what exactly they are looking for and the good side and bad side depending on what the results are. Also, if the results are bad how we fix the issue. As a female I am very comfortable with him as he sees me as a friend and treats me with respect.
I would suggest going to see a different doctor. I like Dr. Dobay, he seems like a nice person but I feel like he maybe has overextended himself. Not only that but the office in Clarksville is horrible. Not only were they asking me questions in the middle of the hallway where everyone could hear, but they were doing it with other people and I could hear everything. This is after I waited over 2 hours for my appointment.
Dr. Dobay is the best Dr I have ever had made my visit very good
Dr. Dobay is personable and overall, just a great doctor. I have had some not so welcoming OBGYN docs. I always feel comfortable and welcomed not only by Dr. Dobay, but the staff as well. I have had 2 surgeries with him, one of which he delivered my baby girl Riley, and they both went great! Plus my husband loves him. Big Bonus! Wait times are a pain, but for a good OBGYN doc, I'll wait as long as it takes.
Poor bedside manner, doesn't answer all questions, visits with patient for 2-5 minutes, talks about your issues outside of the room with others (HIPPA violation), too many patients scheduled at the same appointment time. Last but not least, you get seen 3 hours after your scheduled time.
