My son was referred to Dr. Heuermann and we had a phone consult only. I was hoping for a second opinion after having a negative experience with another provider at her clinic. Instead of being open to our lived experience and my son's current needs she spent a lot of energy defending her clinic and doctors. We were hoping for a medication consult for our 13 year old son who was struggling with anxiety and ADHD significantly impacting all areas of his life. We have had two appointments so far with Dr. Klein and she is wonderful. Very patient, answered all our questions as nervous new parents. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Dr. McCarthy is a phenomenal doctor. We have been seeing him since my son was 6 months old. He is now 14. Dr. McCarthy has met my son where he is at every step of the way - having developmentally appropriate conversations about health and well-being, being very careful about letting him know how and why he was touching him, and answering questions honestly. He talks honestly about the pros and cons to various medical interventions and helps his patients feel empowered. I wish he could be the doctor for our entire family!
My daughter and I saw Dr. Irvin for Ready Care today – she was warm, attentive, and treated my daughter with care and respect. She provided a thorough assessment of potential diagnoses, and walked us through details we didn't fully understand. A+ experience!
Dr Irvin is an understanding and honest person. I felt like I was in good hands and she wanted to be there.
He has been both of my son's Pediatrician for 20 years.
Will circumvent primary parent to gain permission for unnecessary extra vaccines. Does not listen to parents or patients. Terrible experience.
