I have been a patient of this psychiatrist for 5 years, and my experience has been consistently positive. I feel safe, supported and respected in her care. From a clinical standpoint, her medication management has been thoughtful and effective throughout the entire time I have worked with her. Dr. Sikes is amazing. She really listens and empathizes with real life situations and issues. It is obvious after you meet with her a few times she knows what she’s doing and wants the best for her patients.
I wish I could give negative stars. I have been requesting my medical records for disability for over a year. The office staff got physical with me (I have this on video), called the cops and had me trespassed, then blocked my number. Disability sent a letter stating they did not receive any records from this facility. The woman in the office said they sent it twice, lies, clearly of ssa says they didn't get it. Now I called again from a different number, and the woman said I needed to pay a fee for medical records. NOT TRUE... read more
Genuinely horrible experience the whole time I was there. Hour+ long waits with no communication, and the practitioners are very rude. Although I was a legal adult at the time, one of them talked around me and called my guardian into the room to tell them what I 'needed', and was very rude. I teared up and cried beforehand because she was so tactless. They don't really see you as people.
I ignored the reviews and you shouldn’t waste your time or money. Perhaps one of the worst experiences when seeking services of my life. I waited 30 minutes only to answer the same questions as the intake forms. The woman asking the questions was rude, condescending with an overall lack of professionalism. You won’t actually see the psychiatrist and they won’t do additional testing. At the end they prescribe meds with no actual conversation or diagnosis.
