We did not have a good experience at all with Dr. Chillag. He completely failed to reassess my son's neurological problems after they got significantly worse (a couple years ago). This caused a 2 month delay until we could find a more responsible doctor to meet with us and try to help. Dr. Chillag and others in the office act like they care, but don't bring them any unusual problems. We have had much better success at U of M neurology. Go elsewhere if it is a more complex situation.
Dr.Chillag is the best! Chillag was not content to read previous doctors reports and follow them down the same path. He was the only doctor who took a totally fresh look at her symptoms and made his own diagnosis. that was two years ago and her life has been a 180 change! When we asked about having a certain blood test done on our son he was more than willing to run the tests. He is wonderful with our son. I felt like he told us everything he was considering to be a diag for our son. He would tell us this is not it because...and then give examples of why something wouldnt be the diag for him.
