Having had numerous Infectious Disease doctors at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, and 2 different doctors while at Freedom Square SNF, for a MSSA hip infection, and several ID Dr.’s after release, I finally found Dr. Asari. He is the only ID Dr in Pinellas County that would see me, on my Humana insurance, without having HIV and-or hepatitis. He was very thorough, personable, knowledgeable, and takes time to explain the complexity of the issue in terms you can understand. He is my hero. I only saw Dr. Asare once, but it was a good experience. At first I was wary because when I made the appointment, the man answering the phone seemed scattered. However,once I was in the ofice, everything was smooth and pleasant. Dr. Asare was teaching a student that day. He was patient, friendly and clearly explained everything necessary both to me anturn to Dr.d the student. It turns out I did not have an infection, but needed another type of specialist, otherwize I would be happy to return to Dr. Asare for treatment.
Never calls back after leaving voice mail and never answers phone Why?
Excellent care...takes his time...really listens and cares....wonderful Dr. Wonderful bed side manor...so happy we found him for my elderly mother!!
Very diligent in his care. Personable, a Dr. you can actually talk to and who listens. He loves his job.
