I would not return to Dr King Kim for another extraction or any other dental work. The initial anesthetic was injected only seconds after the topical was applied. No time for it to take effect. Seemed to be in a rush with no regard to pain. And he was the one that showed up that morning 45 minutes late. I’d rather go out of network and pay more than to go through that again.

I had 5 wisdom teeth removed, all at once, under anesthesia, by Dr. Kim and felt little to no pain and had minimal swelling after the surgery! Once the anesthesia wore off, I didn’t feel like I needed to take any medicine once home. I was expecting a week-long recovery, but after a day or two, I was back to normal. A testament to his professionalism and expertise. So thankful I went with him!!

Please beware, I was quoted a certain amount for my son's procedure. They asked me to pay $200 before the procedure, they billed my primary and secondary insurance as primary and sent me a $500 bill on top of what I had paid. Insurance companies and Dr.'s offices have a contract, the Dr. can't charge you more than what is agreed on their contract, but this office overcharges. They were trying to get the full quoted amount of the procedure by billing primary to both insurance companies and sending me a bill for the remainder.... read more
