Extremely helpful! Great at what she does.
This was my first time seeing Dr. Hoekema and I was really happy with everything about my appointment. He actively listened to me and heard me where 3 previous doctors during two week prior did not. He assessed my knee and ordered an MRI without hesitation to help assure what is most likely a miniscus tear. He was kind, had expected bedside manner for a busy physician, and I felt my concerns were addressed. I completely recommend him.
Dr Hoekema has done two major surgeries on my back. I was in much pain before each surgery. Both surgeries were very successful. The first surgery was 11 years ago and the last surgery 4 years ago. I am a new person free of back and leg pain!! I have new discs and several fusions in my back. If I ever have back issues in my future, I will be back to see Dr Hoekema. I can’t praise him enough for how he has helped me!!!
Dr Canada did a very professional job. I went in with hand issues. She listened. She didn’t try to push unnecessary stuff on me just addressed the issue I had in the most gentle and professional manner. I’m not naturally keen on western medicine in general but she did a very good job of putting me at ease and assuring me we would get to the bottom of the problem together. Best PCP I've had! Unfortunately, our health care system is setup in such a poor manner that doctors are expected to see a large amount of patients in a single day and have to complete insane amount of box clicking in order to see their patients. Dr. Canada has always been able to finish the "box clicking" portion of the exam quickly and then spent adequate time actively listening to my questions or concerns. Dr. Hoekema ordered and xray for me prior to my visit. He clearly didn't review the xray, which showed that my condition had worsened. He spent less than 5 minutes with me - didn't do an exam or even ask any questions about the reason for my visit. I don't understand why PeaceHealth keeps him in their employment. Horrible experience. Waste of my time and money and damaging to my spirit to be treated so poorly.
This doctor should not be a doctor. He is uncaring, rude and obviously unfit for his job.
He was very unprofessional. Immediately verbally abusive. Patients deserve to be treated with respect. He is an embarrassment to Peacehealth. Such behaviour should not be tolerated in a Medical office.
I have been go to Dr. Fox for over 25 years. She is very professional and yet it’s like coming to see a old friend. She takes time to listen to your questions and concerns.
