DR. Heart is very compassionate and on top of things. My sister and my father have had her through their cancer journey.
I did not appreciate the manner in which she shared my mom’s scan results / that my mom had only a couple months left. Especially when 6 weeks prior they didn’t think there was cancer but said they’d check again in 6 weeks and were informed of worsening symptoms and still made my mom wait to be scanned. She was very impersonal and uncaring. Despite my moms brain cancer being that advanced, she refused to give my mother painkillers until after radiation (although a kind nurse helped us to get medication earlier).
