I had been seeing Dr. Kron for about 6 years. He has always been personable and courteous. I do not see him any longer because I could not afford the $150.00+ extra I would have to spend in addition to what my insurance paid. For some reason, there is always a lot of out of pocket expenses ($150 to $300) for this office even though I have great insurance. He is a great doctor, but buyer beware.
I would not send my worst enemy to this guy! He is more of a used car salesman than an optometrist. Pressures you to buy his overpriced frames/lenses (about 3x the price of competitors, and lessor quality). He has written two prescriptions incorrectly, one for my daughter 2 years ago, then one for me this year, and then expected me to pay for the remake after HIS mistake. That was the last straw. The office is nice and the staff are personable, but this guy ruins the place. STAY AWAY.
