I saw this rheumatologist twice over the span of four years. At my first visit, I was told my symptoms were fibromyalgia, that I needed to lose weight, reduce stress, and address my mental health. No autoimmune testing was ordered. I followed the recommendations—lost weight and pursued therapy—yet my symptoms continued.
