Very disappointed in the lack of communication with elderly patients & their families. Appears to avoid having to communicate with family. My father was in Ashe Mem. Hospital, so I arrived early one morning in order to be there when Dr. Kurtz came by on rounds. I was told by the nursing staff, "You just missed him." I said no problem, I will go to his office later that day. Staff looked at one another, then someone said, "He isn't in the office on Wednesdays." Yes, he/she looked very professional Does this family doctor use current and safe equipment? Yes Does this provider promptly return your phone calls? Yes Is this provider willing to pursue advice from other providers when necessary? Yes, they were willing to ask for advice when necessary

They are happy to answer all of my questions Did this provider thoroughly explain the risks and benefits of your treatment? Yes, I felt informed when I left Does this provider always put the customer first? Yes, they always put customers first Did this provider wear an obnoxious cologne? No, they didn't wear any cologne

Was this family doctor friendly? Extremely Friendly Did this provider's staff seem to respect him/her? Definitely! They staff spoke very highly of him/her Is this business in a safe neighborhood? Absolutely, It is the safest neighborhood around
