Dr. Harrison is fantastic! I sought him out about two years ago to treat my hypothyroidism after trying five other doctors over the course of ten years. Other doctors only checked my TSH and they didn't care that I felt horrible as long as my TSH levels were normal. dr. is good if you don't want to question what he does. If you do he charges you more. His staff is HORRIBLE!! He doesn't answer phone calls if you have a problem it is filtered through his staff.
Useless, countless visits, no diagnosis, willing to “try drugs” without a cause for the symptoms, a money sucker, no nurse available on site. Search further, ANY MD is better than this clown.
Very bright. Very up-to-date. Great listener, very engaged in his patients and their condition. My mother and I both see him and have simply not found anyone that even compares.
I begain going to Dr.Harrison for my thyroid and have since switched for all my healthcare because of his knowledge, patience, and caring attitude. I have never felt rushed during my visits. And he addresses all concerens.
Dr. Harrison is certainly one of the better doctors in this area. He's understanding and a careful listener. However, I think he misses the mark on several important facets of treating the whole patient.
I have been going to Dr. Harrison ever since he came to share the practice with Dr. Gent. I like the fact that he has Mary Shomon's book on Thyroid Disease on his shelf -- which tells me he is willing to look beyond medical journals for information on my disease.
I was very impressed with Dr. Harrison. He is an excellent listener, and very knowledgeable. When you enter the waiting room of his office you do not feel like you are NOT crammed in with masses of other people waiting to see the Doctor. I have found Dr Harrison to be quite knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He spent a significant amount of time understanding my symptoms and condition and really listened to what I had to say. I feel like he is really partnering with me in my health care as opposed to other doctors who will just dictate what they are going to do based on lab reports alone. I highly recommend Dr Harrison to anyone looking for a healthcare provider.
