I was admitted in the hospital in a thyroid storm. The next morning when the Kent Ishihara was making rounds he made statements right in front of me that were dismissive and marginalized the seriousness of my condition. By chance he was the endocrinologist that was assigned to me when I was released from the hospital. The emergency room physician diagnosed me with graves and hyperthyroidism. Ishihara acts and says he’s inconvenienced by my thyroid disorder (as if I’m not the one the most inconvenienced by it). Every symptom is blamed on other factors and every other doctor I’ve gone to has told me it all points back to the thyroid. I went around him to my primary for better care of my thyroid. Would not recommend if you have thyroid issues.
Dr. Ishihara was able to diagnose my disease when other doctors were perplexed. My test results were confusing other doctors and he narrowed in on a few tests and identified it correctly. His diagnosis has greatly improved my quality of life. Thank you Dr. Ishihara!
Dr. Allen Hall has been my doctor for 18 years. He essentially saved me from cancer 2 times. He has always been easy to talk with about my health care and I consider him to be an outstanding primary care doctor.
Dr Hall has been my son's pediatrician since he was 2 years old. He is excellent in making my son feel comfortable. He is available after hours and is quick to make referrals for specialty appointments. When I have follow up questions he answers typically within 24 hours. He listens to my concerns and gives me appropriate explanations for treatments and options.
I was really lucky to be in the good care of Dr. Ishihara. Very friendly and puts you immediately at ease. He has been my doctor for the past 2 years and has monitored my progress well to my improvement. Being very knowledgeable of his specialty,he was able to answer most of my queries. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of an endocrinologist- diabetologist.
