Dr. Yundt performed "Minimally Invasive Decompression Surgery" on my back on March 2, 2018. I was in extreme pain for about 6 months before being recommended to see Dr. Yundt after an M R I revealed I had a condition that was serious. After contacting Dr. Yundt at Northwest Brain and Spine in Bend Oregon, Dr. Yundt assured me that my situation was very treatable, and had a very good success record. Long story short, Thank you Dr. Yundt for a fantastic surgery, I am now pain free, EXCELLANT!
Dr Yundt is amazing in his skill balanced with taking the time to explain what is happening. He goes above and beyond to make sure you know as much or as little as you want to know.
I rarely recommend doctors to family or friends. I feel that sometimes the advise I give is not wanted, but in this case I feel that I would recommend Dr. Yundt for his great care, and insight into helping me with 18 years of pain which has been allievated by 50%. He does sometime run late on his appointments but that is because he spends so much time with his patients figuring out the best way to help them without missing any information. I would recommend him as a great surgeon.
Dr Yundt quickly responded to my wife's sub-duralumin's hematoma and successfully and promptly performed the necessary surgery to relief brain pressure. This was her third trip to St Charles for her "brain bleeding" problem. He was very straight-forward with information on diagnosis, need for immediate surgery and post op follow up.
Dr. Yundt performed a lamenectomy on me back around 2010 . The results were quite favorable. He told me in advance that I may not be 100% afterward, but I would be far better. He was honest and correct. My improvement was about 80%. He advised that a good physical therapist or chiropractor could get me the other 20% or close to it. He was right on as the next several years were pain free. He mentioned that further procedures may be necessary. I would use him again if needed.
What a Quack!!! He tells me he has to do his job but only offers To inject me with cortisone even after I tell him I have had bad reactions and it does not help me on more than 1 occasion. I then asked him why would he torture me knowing this is not going to work, he says he does not want to be sued! hwe is more interested in injecting cortisone than actually helping recover from compressed nerves as shown on an MRI and bone study!
Without his fast action and skills, my wife would not be here. I was never rushed, he answered all questions, and he gives you the straight story. He gives you confidence in his knowledge and abilities without being arrogant.
