I have been a patient with Dr Shumate since he started his practice in Waldorf. Dr. Shumate and his staff have always accommodated me. In cases where he didn't feel like he was the best person for the job, he provided me with wonderful recommendations. Recently he performed an extensive surgery, and a few days later I had some concerns. He took the time to face time me in the moment to address my issues, and I was relieved. I highly recommend you give him a try.
I’m extremely disappointed with Dr. Shumate dental practice. My crown fell out, I called the office and was told I had to pay for an X-ray and evaluation. It’s been less than 2 years for the crown. Not reasonable, out pocket fees.
