Horrible physician. Due to religious purposes, he no longer wanted to have my daughter as a patient because of vaccines. But he is catholic and doesn't prescribe birth control. So, he expects patients to respect his religion but doesn't do the same in return. He always seemed lost at the appointments. If I could rate him zero stars, I would.
Dr.Edel is a good listener, very knowledgable and proactive in His treatment. I feel comfortable with He and His staff.
If I could give Dr. Edel a zero I would. A one is still too much for his review. I seen Dr. Edel for a few years. My company was going out of business. I was sick needing to see a Doctor. I had already lost my insurance. I paid for my visit up front. Dr. Edel drops me as a patient after that. I’m assuming because I had no insurance. Makes absolutely no sense seeing as how I did not owe him a dime. This man only cares about the money and not his patients.
Dr Edel genuinely cares about his patients and their overall health. I have seen him for quite some time and always feel he wants me to have the best health possible. If an issue arises, he steps in quickly to find what is going on and how to resolve it, including referrals if necessary. He is the rare Dr who takes time to know his patients well and helps them stay healthy by encouraging a healthy life style.
My mother was exposed to Covid and was exhibiting symptoms. She began feeling worse so we had a telehealth call with Dr. Edle. Based on her symptoms he recommended she go immediately to his office to get a nasal swab. She was also experiencing an intense cough and possible secondary lung infection. He wouldn’t write her a prescription for even a general antibiotic for her cough and possible infection without a Covid test. That makes no sense at all!!! Terrible dr. Very uncaring.
Dr Edel did all of the things I requested, but didn't offer other treatment outside of that. Felt like I was guiding my own care and I just needed him to order the labs. After seeing me for 5 months, he announced he could no longer treat a single person for certain reproductive issues. He stated "... it would be like I can't in good conscience prescribe birth control..." Dr Edel is a wonderful Dr. If he thinks you need to see a specialist he doesn’t hesitate to recommend one. My husband and I both are his patients and have found that he is very knowledgeable, and cares about his patients. I have recommended him to several family members.
