As a long-term cancer survivor, I have received a higher level of care from Dr. Woods and her team than memory can recall from any other provider: proactive, responsive and clearly interested in my long-term health. Excellent care from a compassionate and friendly provider in a pleasant, well managed practice.
Dr Wood is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered (I'm a retired RN). She is knowledgeable, caring and kind. I have received excellent care from her.
Over the years, Dr. Wood has proven herself to be a great doctor for me. She holds me accountable for the things I need to do in order to improve my health, but not in a scolding or unpleasant way, and at my request. The practice, alas, is pretty awful about scheduling timely, and this goes back to the pre-pandemic era, so she loses a star for that even though it is, quite frankly, out of her control. I like and respect her, especially as we both get older.
Echoing the review of Sheila. I have felt gaslit and crazy-made at every turn. Having a reasonable level of concern for my health has been framed as “preoccupation with health” when I have never received that feedback from other providers. When I have real symptoms they are chocked up to “somatization”. I really enjoy going to Dr. Wood. Over the years she has always made me feel very comfortable and has been a great primary care provider.
