My appoint was disappointing to say the least. There was a problem with the x-rays I brought so he never looked at them. He did not exam me. He spent a few minutes telling me how joints wear out , like knees, then said he 'doesn't do shots'. He said he'd give me the number of a doctor 'down the street' and ran out of the office. I still had questions. The nurse came in with the other doctor's number. I asked where the doctor was and said I still had questions. Her reply was that he was already with another patient. I met Dr. Aksu Kenan today and it was such a relief meeting a doctor like him who does not scare people , listens patiently understands the patient and symptoms and than tell the remedy, explains options and talk about the plan of treatment.
I went to see a doctor but saw Physician assistant, no problem with that on the first visit. Saw assistant after my MRI, didnt tell me the entire problem with my disk. My disk had part of it broken off and wasnt tol until I insisted to meet the doctor the day of epidural. He did say it was broken off....just tell the entire problem with my back. wasted almost 2 months if my time. now starting over with another doctor.
Absolutely love Dr. AKSU!! Explains things very very well. His comparisons so that you can understand what he is talking about are so simple, even a child can understand him. His technique is safe, antiseptic and everyone including him wears a face mask!! A sure sign of these times we will not soon forget. His injections are radiology guided so it makes sure he gets to the irritation to be injected. I would give him a 10 if it was possible. Plus he has a sense of humor!!
my husband and I have been going to him for more than six years. He has always been very informative prior to our various surgeries. Staff friendly. Sometimes wait times are too long - that is my only complaint.
Office polite, clean, timely. Doctor prompt, knowledgeable, welcoming, relaxing.
