I have undergone 2 DBS procedures, and 2 battery replacements with Dr Foote. There is no finer neurosurgeon in the entire world, no exaggeration. Dr. Foote's surgical team members are also the best of the best, academically. They are also very kind. God only knows what condition I would be in, if I had not undergone my first DBS surgery 6 years ago, with Dr. Foote. For me, Dr Foote is la creme de la creme.
Dr Foote is a brilliant surgeon. He has a delightful personality. His bedside manner is excellent. My husband just had the first of three DBS implant surgeries. This will be a game changer for him because he has struggled with cervical dystonia for many years after Vietnam. Thank you Dr Foote. You Rock
The world needs more doctors like Dr. Foote. My fiance was seriously injured when a tree fell on him. He was in trauma ICU for a week and even when being discharged we weren't given a clear picture of how extensive his injuries were. UF gave us discharge paperwork with a date for a follow up appointment, a few prescriptions that with no indications about how to get refills, or who to contact, or what to expect afterwards.
