I had an ankle fusion not take, incredible pain every day. Primary care sent me to her for pain management. She talked to me for maybe 5 min, then said she wouldn't help me. Made me feel like I was making things up. Cat Scan came back so messed up the raidology doctor called my primary careto make sure I was getting treatment.Ortho Doctor immediately gave me some hope with pain and made a plan for surgery. So she was totally wrong and refused to help me and then charged me $430 for not helping me.

Literally just poking me diagnosing me with something I actually don't have. I told her that's not the diagnosis but she would not listen. She actually didn't listen to me at all and decided she was just going to do injections everywhere, which was NOT what my surgeon wanted. Therefore, I will make the trip all the way to Burlington VT to the proper provider. I am still suffering to this day due to a mistake that this doctor made. I was on my way to getting better and this woman denied me any quality of life.

Sad. I was forced to WAIT over 3 weeks to hear back from Dr. Defeo regarding a procedure she performed that sent me running (not literally) to the ER 2 days post procedure. "Nothing I can do for you over the phone but tell you to put ice on it and see you at your follow up appointment. The reason why your in so much pain is because the medicine wore off."
