Very thorough genuinely cares about your health
Dr. Mankowitz is a talented Cardiologist first, however he is very easy to talk to with an excellent bedside manner. I have referred many friends to Dr. Mankowitz and they were not disappointed.
Caring and thorough as usual. Have been seeing Dr Mankowitz for many years. He is always thorough, listens, and explains things well. He treated my father & FIL extending both their lives. I trust him completely and have referred him several times. You couldn’t make a better choice in a heart Dr.

Dr. Mankowitz takes the time to listen! I never feel rushed , he listens to me, NOT looking and typing in his computer! He follows up with a letter to remind me to take my test, not just give me a script. I dont have to ask for results, he calls and gives a plan of action. I think the most valuable feeling is, that my Health is important to him , that I, as a person, am important, not just a number. When I leave his office, I feel good!!!
One of the best docs. World renown expert in his field. He communicates very well.
He is a very caring doctor that listens to the patient. He does everything he can to help me feel better. When other dr's don't know what else to do, Dr Mankowitz always keep trying to find answers and I don't know what I'd do without him. I was so sick and desperate for help to feel better the first time I seen him. He pulled me trough some very rough and sickly times. I thank God for him every day. All of His staff is also very friendly and caring as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
If you have been diagnosed with HCOM, you want Dr. Mankowitz. You are in the best of care. He's so kind and calm. Very professional office staff, but they are incredibly warm. I would highly recommend Dr. Mankowitz for any cardio diagnosis/
Dr. Mankowitz is the BEST cardiologist in the area. I've had 3 out of Springfield and going to St. Louis was the best decision we could have made. He saved my life, I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else!!
Dr. Mankowitz came to Mt. Vernon, Il once a week and I wanted a second opinion on a catheterization. I quit the doctor that thought I needed it, and stayed with him. He had quit coming to town, but I decided to stay with him, because I thought so much of him. I live about 100 miles away, but I completely trust him. He should be teaching bedside manner in some medical school. I completely trust him and that is very important.
