Unimpressed. Came in for routine prostate screening. Gave me the choice whether or not I 'wanted' a rectal exam. Asked no details of sexual history. Did not inquire specifically about urinary frequency, force of stream, urinary incontinence, pain, hematuria, or nocturia, as would be appropriate for a senior citizen. Dr Steinbecker was thorough and quick. The procedure was painless and post op very little discomfort.His staff at Mercy are first rate and the facility modern and comfortable. The check in staff are super helpful and guided us to the proper areas.
Dr. Steinbecker is an excellent physician. He has treated me multiple times for kidney stones. I’ve never, ever, had to wait long to see or hear from him, or his staff, especially his nurse Karen. They are very dedicated to you. They care about what your pain level is, how you’re feeling, and getting you to have X-ray, CT scans, whatever is necessary to help in their diagnoses of you. After 2nd Biopsy I had severe pain in groin and left testicle and still do after 1 year and My semen has turned into water with no explanation at all. Steinbecker gave me 3 different antibiotics and none worked because that was the problem? He did not seemed concerned at all and I left to pursue another Doctor. Cannot figure out what is wrong MEDICAL MYSTERY!

Dr Steinbecker is an excellent doctor. I have gone to him for years of kidney stones and he has always been compassionate and informative. His staff is awesome as well.
