Dr. Artz is a strong women’s health advocate, and she provided excellent and thorough care.
Dr Artz is a great surgeon and I had a great experience from the first visit to the final follow up. I was able to schedule consult quickly and the surgery soon afterward. She did an excellent job, correcting existing and potential issues. Recovery was quick and I was back to work in just over a week. I have recommended her to several others and they all have had the same excellent results. If you need surgery, I highly recommend Katie Artz, MD.
Dr. Artz is a wonderful surgeon, compassionate and explained everything before the surgery, and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. Office staff was wonderful. well run office. no waiting in lobby or exam room for more than a few minutes. I would recommend her to any family member or friend.
I have had Dr. Artz perform two separate surgeries. I found her very personable and professional. In addition, she has performed surgeries on several family members who referred me to her. All were very positive about her and her work as well.

I saw Dr. Artz for a banding of an internal hemorrhoid that a previous doctor had botched! She was excellent in her evaluation of the situation and performed an anoscopy and hemorrhoid banding which resolved my problem. I would recommend her for any surgery procedures that she performs. Excellent staff.
Highly skilled, exceptional surgeon! Happy, energetic personality. Extremely happy with the outcome of my gallbladder surgery which took 20 minutes. Very little pain after surgery. Kept ice packs over 4 small incisions for 2 days and took a couple Advil/Tylenol post surgery and day after surgery. Was back to light activity third day after surgery, walking and driving. DaVinci assisted Gall Bladder removal surgery. Dr. Artz is wonderful. Surgery was a breeze and with her pre and post surgery information, there were no surprises. Easy to see why/how Dr. Artz was voted best General Surgeon in AZ.
Dr. Artz performed what should have been a simple surgery on me and when she got into the area of the gallbladder, found it adhered to me liver and in very bad shape. She was able to keep the surgery from becoming an open surgery and did a great job. My friend is a PACU nurse where she works and he told me I got the best of the best. I personally agree. She was so easy going and nice. Not like most surgeons. I would highly recommend her and I am now a post op nurse.
