The one star is only for Dr. Joe. If it weren’t for him, I would give zero stars. I waited SEVERAL months to see Dr. Bolis. Took off work, went in, and was told my appointment had been cancelled. I had received a confirmation call about a week in advance and then a confirmation text AND a pre-appointment check-in link the day BEFORE my appointment. Nope. They wouldn’t hear it. Dr. Bolus is not a good doctor. A halfway decent doctor would never tell a patient, “I don’t care.” Regardless of what the patient was even talking about. When she told me that, I told her that seeing her was a mistake and that I was leaving. She said ,”no, don’t, come back, I want to feel your neck.” That’s it. I have never had a more unprofessional physician visit than when I walked into Dr. Bolus's office this morning. Using the technology that is provided by their office, I made a new patient visit appointment since I just moved to Charleston and wanted to establish a positive relationship with a primary care physician. Dr Bolus does not appear to care for the well being of her patients. My mother has left several messages with the secretary for a referral and she does not respond. Dr Bolus does not communicate the essential information to the parties to be, in order to continue certain critical treatments. She does not follow up nor does she follow through. Very disappointed!!! Would have left zero stars had it been an option!
