I went with my brother to his appointment with Dr. LaFaver. Upon arrival, the first person encountered at the desk, was very kind, friendly and helpful. The building was very clean and comfortable to be in. The nurse, who took us back to the room, was also kind, friendly and helpful. Dr. LaFaver listened to everything my brother had to say and answered all of his questions and didn't rush him through the appointment. Best neurologist for Parkinson's disease in the area. My visits are always informative and helpful.
Dismissive and uncaring. Wants to push meds right away without any testing. Wants to treat symptoms instead of doing the work to find the cause… There are better neurologists out there, I suggest finding them.
This doctor has already been more helpful to me in a single visit than the neurologist I saw for the past three years. She takes time to listen and ordered testing to get to the root of my problem. I look forward to seeing her again!
Did not look at prior records and dismissive
DrLafavor took care of facial disorder I had practically made it non existent at U/L in fact I got on this site trying to locate her because I’ve went back since she’s been gone and I hate even saying but the injections were so painful from this doctor I was literally s re-saving but I hardly even felt them when DR LAfavor done them .I tried to tell this man where she has injected them at and he pretty much told me to be quiet he knew what he was doing . he had been doing it for 21 years so he did his job and my face is mess... read more
Fantastic doctor! We were looking for a second opinion for my father's Parkinson's disease and Dr. LaFaver provided a thorough assessment and mentioned treatment options we hadn't heard about before. She took lots of time to answer all our questions. We also loved the fellow working with her!
I have been going to Dr. LaFaver for 3 years. I strongly recommend her. She has helped me when other doctors have been unable.
I participated in Dr. LaFaver's MORE program at Frazier Rehab in Louisville and cannot be thankful enough for having my life back! Wonderful experience and great team!
