Dr. Moen did my full Spinal fusion (due to scoliosis) when I was 12. I will be 33 in a few months and despite my having chronic pain in my hips/leg, I have not and do not have any back pain whatsoever. Everyone else I know that has had the same Spinal fusion has some back pain. Dr. Moen was also kind and informative. She couldn't have done my surgery any better.
