Dr B is a fantastic doctor. Another poster posted about Psych Care Consultants which Dr Buchowski has since left because of the problems with the staff. She had no control over that, saw her patients suffering and left. She is the best DR I’ve ever been to all across the board and I go to a LOT.
Dr. Buchowski is by far the most attentive, detailed, empathetic psychiatrist I have worked with. She does not over-prescribe ("pill-push") and respects the autonomy of the patient. I will always refer to her first for my clients and friends.
Dr. Buchowski is the best psychiatrist I know in the St. Louis area. She gives the time and attention needed for every patient so that she understands the entire picture. She is extremely knowledgeable, yet equally as compassionate.
Love the dr but you cannot get through to the office or very hard to get calls answered.
Demanded my social security number over the phone. Sorry I don’t trust anyone with that information. I would be stupid to do so. I actually pay my bills. Your loss. I can see you really care about the mental health of your patients.
