I could not recommend Dr Katherine Ma enough ! I suffered from a broken tibia and fibula two years ago she put me back together requiring two surgeries it was such a bad break I’m lucky to be walking today .. a plate with rods and pins along with extensive physical therapy after I’m a very satisfied patient … I highly recommend her for ankle and foot surgery bedside manner was fine she tells it like it is 👍🏻
Ive been seeing Dr. Ma since I was probably 8 years old. I remember being in so much pain in my teen years after a soccer game and two different Radiologists could not find a fracture- but Dr. Ma found the slightest hairline fracture in my foot and got me on my way. Nearly 16 years later I’m probably having surgery on that same foot with her sooner or later. Would not trust anyone else.
I'm just sorry I couldn't leave less than one star......this " doctor " ( which if I could strip her of her medical license I would) told me my fracture was healed and actually had the indecency to mock my pain when I told her the level of pain was insane and there was something wrong Not only did she tell me to ' suck it up' but made fun of me when I complained about the pain Long story short.....my fracture was not healed, my bones collapsed onto each other and I have to have reconstructive surgery ( by a real surgeon) Sta... read more
This "practioner" burst into the exam room red-faced, harried & angry. During her 10 minute exam she condescended to me & treated me as though I was an idiot. Quite frankly I assumed she just didn't like me. On further thought I realized this is her issue - not mine. Never again. What a ridiculously negative experience.
Dr Ma was the most unfriendly, unconcerned doctor I have ever seen in the group, maybe it was a bad day, I don't know, but based on her other reviews I don't think so. Come on Optum, you need to screen better, bring back Dr. Volmicke!
