Dr Ma was the most unfriendly, unconcerned doctor I have ever seen in the group, maybe it was a bad day, I don't know, but based on her other reviews I don't think so. Come on Optum, you need to screen better, bring back Dr. Volmicke!
She was spot on. Got me back on the field feeling good. Doesn’t sugar coat it and tells you how it is.
I made the mistake of going to Dr. Ma for a fractured fibula with soft tissue damage. My first visit was pretty straightforward. I was given a boot and crutches and told I would be back on my feet in just a few weeks. I asked if she thought I should have an MRI to assess any soft tissue damage, and she dismissed my concern saying any soft tissue issues would heal while I was in the boot. Thank you Dr. Ma for your 7 months of no help whatsoever. You discriminated my age and sent me to PT with a broken foot. Only when Dr. Kelmanovich saw me he immediately put a cast on and took a CT scan. Not only one break but 2. Had to have surgery and now have a plate and screws in my foot and a bone taken from my heel to replace the broken bone. I am so disappointed in your professional help. May will be a year for me.
