This doctor has the worst bedside manner. I saw her at the 23 Mile location for what they diagnosed as a “slightly sprained ankle”…almost 2 and a half weeks later, while still having horrible pain and knowing something wasn’t right, an Orthopedic Doctor confirmed an ankle fracture. I’m sorry but when you work at a so called “emergency room” and the doctor AND Radiologist can’t tell a sprain from a fracture…that’s absurd. Took my daughter in on 23 mile to ER this dr was wear a whole alien suit and it made it to we had to yell just to talk to her. She put on 3 pairs of gloves and was very rude said my daughter had something she didn’t even have and wouldn’t even test her to make that conclusion.. I would not be going there anymore.. and how she made my daughter feel was horrible
In the emergency department on 23 Mile, Dr. Ohlendorf took care of my toddler for an anaphylactic reaction. It was very busy, but she gave exactly what was needed, kept us to be observed for 4-5 hours and made sure we were comfortable going home before discharging us. I appreciate her calm demeanor and expertise.
I recently visited urgent care at St John Ascension on 23 mile. Extremely disappointed with the treatment of my son. He is 12 years old and dropped a weight on his big toe and it would not stop bleeding. When she asked me if he was up to date on his vaccinations, I replied no. She was very rude to me and felt like she treated me and my son differently because of it. No empathy was given. I was told my son needed lidocaine in order to be examined which I was fine with.
