Dr. Avila is the best doctor I ever had. She listens and uses her vast knowledge to focus in on your problems. She was one of the best parts of UTSW...her leaving makes me sad. Dr. Avila is a great physician. She made several changes to my care plan, and it has really made a difference in my health and quality of life. Dr. Avila explained pros and cons of different options and I felt I was able to make better medical decisions because of her explanation.
