I've been seeing Dr. Kuenning for almost 40 years, and I won't go anywhere else. She knows my eyes; she knows my habits with my lenses. Her exams are spot on. A+
I had my first eye exam with Dr. Karen this week and I have never had an eye exam like this. Before, when I have had an eye exam, I'm there for 15 minutes, I get my contact prescription and that's the end of it. Dr. Karen actually took scans of my retina(!) and showed me what my retina looks like, circled an area in the back to keep an eye on in the future, and talked me through what healthy/unhealthy looks like. Dr. Kuenning is an exceptional eye doctor and optometrist. She is incredibly thorough and truly takes her time. While most eye exams I’ve had elsewhere last only 10–15 minutes, Dr. Kuenning spent a full hour with me. She helped identify that my issues with contact lenses were caused by dry eyes — something no one had ever fully explained before.
