I made an appointment to see Dr. Kareen Brook, but the office canceled it, claiming I needed a referral from a primary care doctor. However, our insurance does not require a referral, and they clearly failed to verify this properly. Very unprofessional and frustrating. We ended up going to another gastrointestinal/digestive clinic, and no referral was needed. I do not recommend this office — save your time and choose a clinic that respects patients and understands basic insurance procedures.
Dr. Brooks was one of the most attentive, compassionate, caring, excellent doctors I have ever had. She was very professional and explained and answered all my questions. Definitely recommended.
Incredible bedside manner. Surgery was done with no complications. Very well knowledge surgeon.
I have no complaints over the doctor excellent highly recommend. Yet she needs staff that will help the people out. 🙄 The staff she has are very rude 😤 and they want to rush people out of their office at all times before 5pm. When you still need an explanation of the medical process. 🙄
Excellent surgeon, very attentive to detail and to her patients needs. I definitely recommend Dr. Brooks .
