My appointment was very rushed. I felt dismissed, medically gaslit, and the recommendations she gave were things I had already tried. Had she listened to what I trying to say, she would have been aware of that. She made it out as if my symptoms were anxiety, or "in my head" and tried to tell me the pandemic affected people's mental health and this was the cause. I know my body and this was not the case. So I've been taking my 83 year old mom to see Dr. Fickel since January 9, 2023. I thought all of my mom's previous doctors were good--until her doctor retired and Dr. Fickel started treating my mom--like family. LIKE FAMILY! I've never seen anything like it before in my life.
