There are only two dentists in this small town. When I chipped one of my front teeth and wanted it to be repaired, the other dentist in town told me “just deal with it.” Well, I called Dr. Thummel and she got me in for an appointment right away. She did such a thorough job in placing a small amount of dental bonding to correct the appearance of the chip. (That bonding is still intact nearly five years later.) After waiting over two months for my appointment I was told upon arrival that my insurance was not accepted there. I gave them that information when I made the appointment! I went ahead with just a cleaning since I had waited sooooo long anyway. They told me it was just $91.00, fair enough. Then during my exam and cleaning the lady cleaning told me I should get an x-ray? I told her my insurance was nooooooo good there.
