75일에 달하는 장기 여행 도중, 이빨 안 쪽 고정형 유지장치(교정)가 떨어졌습니다, 강윤형 의사선생님은 전화 상담을 할 때 절 치료로 유도하는 듯한 영업성 멘트는 단 한마디도 하지 않았습니다. 다른 곳도 한 번 알아보시는 것도 좋다는 권유는 제게 상당한 신뢰감을 주었습니다. 전화를 끊고 나서 이 대화에 대해 생각해보고, 바로 예약했습니다. 치료 내용과 치료비에 대해 굉장히 만족합니다. 1. 치료 과정에서 제 의견을 확실히 물어봤습니다. 의문이 가는 것은 애매하지 않게 확실히 답변해주었습니다. 2. 철사의 변형 정도가 예전보다 심해, 자르게 될까봐 걱정했습니다. (자를 경우, 추후 한국에서 치료 비용이 굉장히 높아져 그만큼 심리적으로 부담됩니다. 또한, 한국으로 돌아가기 전까지 유지 장치가 떨어져나간 이의 위치가 움직일까봐 불안했습니다) 다행히 원래 남아있던 본드의 형태를 그대로 보존하여 최소한의 자극으로 완벽하게 붙여줬습니다. I've been searching for an ideal dentist through my entire life of 40 plus some years. Before meeting this wonderful, honest and gentle doctor, every time I saw any other dentist, I used to feel that they were only seeing me as a source of income, working on unnecessary things, drilling on my healthy teeth, intimidating me by saying that my teeth will all fall out unless I blindly follow their orders. Ok, Dr. Kang is an awesome dentist. It's rare to find a dentist who really gives you the sense that he wants to work *with* you rather than *on* you, if you know what I mean. He spent ample time with me to talk about the various treatment options, and is also sensitive to financial concerns. He's got a very gentle treatment technique, so that was a real nice surprise.
