The doctor is great, but there is a staff member who could use more training in providing customer service. Tone and approach when dealing with patients go a long way and this is a medical office, not a regular service type job.
Such a waste of money. Billed $220 for some tests he wanted to run that told me nothing for the symptoms was experiencing. Made it sound so easy that will run these tests and then give not even a glimpse of how much the tests will cost. Had I known it was going to cost so much, I wouldn't have bothered with the tests. Then when ask about expenses it's a different billing group so don't take any responsibility and say well it's dependent on your insurance. Dr. Shahedi, diagnosed me with a Tumor in my small intestine after 8 years of going up & down Los Angeles's doctor after doctor. He referred me to a good surgeon to remove the Tumor from my intestine. He was so helpful and caring from beginning to the end of my recovery period. He has different tests available to help find root causes of illnesses. He is Extremely kind and gentle - and also humble. I only wish I had found Dr. Shahedi sooner. Dr. Shahedi is AMAZING! Extremely thorough and with the bedside manner of an Angel! His knowledge goes beyond his expertise and he takes the time to explain in a way you can understand. He’s very personable and cares about his patients. I’ve never felt so comfortable with a specialist! I wish more Doctors were like him!
Dr. Shahedi is a great doctor and i am very happy I found him. I have a few differnt issues and IBS. he is always patient with me and gives practical advice and recommendations that have really helped me for my IBS which actually ended up being something called SIBO and with his recommendations I have nearly had resolution of all my symptoms after years of seeing other doctors. I'm happy I found him.

I recently visited Dr. Shahedi for abdominal pain. He eased my concerns and had excellent bedside manner. He really took the time with me and returned my late night call. The staff is great as well!
Dr Shahedi is just fantastic. I had my colonoscopy with him which I had dreaded but he made the experience very easy. He explained the entire procedure and what to expect which made me feel at ease and really took his time and was patient to answer all my questions which I appreciated. He even called me after the procedure to give me the results of the polyps he had found which saved me time from going to another visit, something my previous GI doctor never did. I really appreciate his work.
Dr. Shahedi made it clear that he did not like my son getting a second opinion. Additionally, in spite of my (19 year old) son giving full permission to share his medical info with me, neither the Dr. nor his nurses would return my calls. My son requested that his records be sent to another doctor and it took a week for the records to be sent and only after I called and left several messages, was I finally able to find someone who took care of sending them, even though it wasn't her job.
