Empathy, communication, understanding of conditions, attitude, problem solver, brilliant person who is client-centered and only does surgery as a last resort. A pioneer in his field he has trained hundreds of doctors with his innovative techniques. He has helped clients and myself stay healthy and provides genuine advice and treatment plans. He probably is the best doctor I've ever known in any field.
I had been to another high profile orthopedic doctor who didn't take the time to adequately explain what was going on with my knee. Dr. Kelso took out the knee model, showed me the MRI, and explained treatment options to get me back in the game. Dr. Kelso is an honest doctor you can trust! I appreciate that he took the time to explain the problem and the solution options!
Dr. Kelso may be a great doctor, we never found out. We were kept waiting over 1 and quarter hours and there were still two patients in front of us. Apparently, his time is so much more important than his patients' time that he has no problem being well over an hour late. We left after 1 and one hours.
Incredible surgeon that can handle patients from start to finish. Exceptional bedside manner, I would recommend without reservation to anyone!
Dr. Kelso is GREAT! Stand up physician. His office staff however leaves a lot to be desired. I have tried for 4 weeks to get a prescription for anti-inflammatory medication that is KEY to my rehabilitation plan. Numerous voice mail messages and even fax went unreturned. There is no office info email listed on their website to utilize as a contact resource. While I love Dr. Kelso, so much interaction occurs with a physician's office staff that this delay in my treatment has me looking elsewhere.
Dr, Kelso did an excellent job on my knee. He corrected two bad surgeries from previous doctors and now the knee is as good as new. He was very professional, informative to talk to, and extremely compassionate. I highly recommend him.
Receptionist is not clearly communicating, half the time I struggled on whether she understood what I am looking for. Consulted him for pain in my elbow caused because of the my handball game, after looking at my X-rays neither the doctor nor the nurse provided me the information on the injury and kind of elbow strap I am supposed to use for my pain. They just mentioned use tablets upon my request.
He took my case when my original doctor failed to handle my after surgery care appropriately. I ended up in extreme pain and frozen shoulder. This doctor was understanding, helpful, diagnosed me properly, sent me to an excellent physical therapist and now I'm almost back to new.
I have seen many doctors in my life, but Dr Kelso listen to you and orders test needed . He is very understanding he is understanding and respect full . I trust doctor kelso with my life. The best by far. He had fixed my shoulder and i know he will do what is right for me.
