I am a violinist, age 72. Dr. Mithoefer saved my natural shoulder after complete rotator cuff tear and partial bicep tear. (By contrast, the Lahey surgeon first consulted “watchfully waited” which would have let my shoulder fall apart), requiring shoulder replacement, which Dr. Mithoefer says is never as good as preserving one’s own joint. Recovery is long, several months of PT and 6 sessions of laser therapy but makes enormous difference. Very happy.
First time seeing Dr. Kai and was very happy when I left even though I need major knee surgery. He made me feel very comfortable and he was clearly an expert. 2/3 - Post-Surgery Update.
