He is very caring and explains exactly what he is going to do. A wonderful person and Doctor.
I’ve had severe pain in my spine for most of the 70 years of my life. Dr Scruggs has helped ease the pain with cortisone injections. Hid evaluations are thorough. He is caring and patient. Always upbeat and pleasant. I’ve been seeing him for almost 10 years.
I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have seen in my 70+ years. He explains everything clearly and does his absolute best to cause the least amount of discomfort during a procedure. The office staff and assistants are friendly and helpful. Sorry to use so many superlatives, but he deserves them.
I was referred to doctor scrubs last year. He applied three injections into my spine gave me plenty of relief for my sciatic pain

Seriously he is one of the BEST doctors I have ever seen. I had a herniated disc in my neck. He explained everything in detail to me about my MRI. He takes a lot of time to listen to you and what is going on. He sympathizes and seems to truly understand the pain I was going through. He was able to help me tremendously and I would 100% recommend him to anyone who has neck or back issues.
I have been seeing Dr. Scruggs for about a year and a half. He is the ONLY spine specialist that has been able to help me. I’ve seen other specialists who have given up on me after seeing my X-rays and MRI’s. When Dr. Scruggs saw me for the first time he immediately said he could help keep me walking. He immediately started a game plan for recovery. I will never go to another spinal specialist. I owe my mobility to Dr Scruggs and his staff.
Dr.Scruggs is very kind and "listens" to the patient. He explained everything to me about the procedure to me. First he did a very complete exam.He is very professional and has a nice demeanor.
Dr. Scruggs is personable knowledgeable and very smart. I went with back and leg pain and he was able to diagnose my problem, create a plan and provide very clear instructions. I have complete trust in his judgement. No rush to surgery, he had a very broad plan and was very encouraging.
