After receiving a referral from my oncologist last month, I’ve just gone to see Dr. Choi this afternoon. During my first visit as a new outpatient, Dr. Choi asked why I had come to see him—a question I found rude. He then hurriedly asked me a few questions without seeming to care about my presence, his eyes fixed on his medical documents the entire time. Unprofessional, with a superficial attitude toward patients’ problems. I don’t understand how, with such tough competition, he still manages to get clients. But above all, I understand the reason — his lack of basic manners leads to ignorance. I recommend staying away from this «specialist».
I called this office at 2:30pm today 1/14/2026 to schedule an appointment for my father who speaks Vietnamese. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. Their responses made no sense, with missing subjects and verbs, and they spoke in a disrespectful tone. When I asked if a translation device could be used, they bluntly said no and told me that if my father came alone, they would cancel the appointment. Worst experience ever!!!!
If I can give ( -) 100, I would give this doctor. His office receptionist is VERY Rude and Disrespectful. Even the doctor himself is exactly same way. I never seen a doctor coming out at the lobby area & telling a patient that you need to pay a $250 co-payment and when I told him to call my insurance company to check that I only need to pay my co-pay of $55, he said no it's too late and he had to go to lunch.
