Dr Pittman has been my doctor for 5 years now. She is truly concerned about you as a person, and very attuned to your feelings and concerns. She doesn't just hear you.. she listens to you.

She is the best doctor I've had of any kind. I highly recommend her. Other members of my family see her too. She is one of the best in the business.

Trying to get a refill for a prescription and they don't respond to voicemail or email or answer phones. They prescribe medication that is addictive and has severe side effects if stopped abruptly, then when refills are needed they ignore their patients. This is potentially fatal as the are dealing with seriously depressed patients and suicide is and always should be a serious concern. What is wrong with you people? Answer your phones, return calls, or close up shop and go home if you aren't going to do your job!

Save yourself the time and find a psychiatrist office where you will feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Pittman is great, but like a lot of practices you will spend more time with here PA than you will with the Dr. This is supposed to be a place where you can get help if you struggle with addiction, so you'd think the staff would make you feel comfortable and not treat you like a junkie during your visits.

For treatment of recovery she's fantastic. But also has helped me address other areas in my life that need tuning. Very understanding and is the most compassionate psychiatrist I've ever met. She is extremely smart and is up to date on research and pharmacology.

I had a horrible experience with her over the course of 6 weeks. Paid for initial consult and received a different medication than what I had been taking for years. 3 weeks later I told her the medication was not working she increased the dosage. Few days later I called & said the medication was still not working & was accused by her office staff of prescription manipulation. Only wants to prescribe an RX if you need add'l help she refers you to others. Requires monthly visits for RX refills.

She doesn't take insurance and charges $300 on the first visit. All appointments after are $150 and she requires bi-weekly appointments for the first month and then monthly appointments there on out! Even for a simple refill prescription!
