Dr. Burnham was excellent. She explained everything to me, spent time listening to my concerns and was very nice. Her staff was equally friendly and helpful. I'm so glad I finally made an appointment to see her. I did wait an extra 25 minutes to see her but she is a specialist and things happen. She spent as much time with me as I needed.
I left my other Neurologist of 2 years because they were unprofessional and I never saw him only PA's. Dr. Burnham is great, I see her every time and she truly cares about my health. I will never go anywhere else....
The number 1 reason not to choose Dr.Burnham is because her staff is so awful. She may have good credentials but she doesn't know how to hire admin staff. A caring and comforting team should be a priority since Dr. Burnham, like most physicians is very hard to reach. My sweet mom was a patient being treated for dementia. When an even greater crisis occurred, we were unable to make contact with her office in order to request necessary medical records. They actually hang up on you!
I was trying to tell her that it took a few times to get her office to answer the phone and she cut me right off and said you've gotten through. Sorry you may have a degree but you won't talk like that to me again
She is very passive & treats everyone like they all have the same symptoms, pain , etc. She was scarastic and rude. She recommended Botox for my migraines and was not honest about pain or side effects. Could never get help with meds or answer. Went to the ER twice within 2 months of Botox with 3 day migraines. Never a call or follow up. I tried there before going to the ER. Horrible!
