Dr. Ratner is an amazing physician. She is thorough, doesn't make you feel rushed and wants to hear what questions you have. She doesn't jump to taking medication if a simple lifestyle adjustment can be made. And by simple I don't mean it's "simple" to change lifestyle, but she is great about talking about where you are struggling and offers suggestions.
I am very fortunate to have Dr. Julia Ratner as my doctor. She always shows great interest in every visit I have with her and explains every doubt I have. She is very Kind and very patient. She definitely deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you, Dr. Julia. You are a wonderful doctor.

Had an appointment scheduled as new patient for months. Confirmed the day before by text. Got a phone call day of to say not accepting new patients. Now have a new appointment with another doctor for March of 2026. Over a year out from already waiting several months. From previous reviews, this is not the first time they have treated a potential patient this way.
Waited 40 minutes for Dr Ratner at Northshore Vernon hills. After following up I was told it’s another 20 minute wait. Could have easily been resolved through proactive communication.
