What a fantastic pediatrician! She is knowledgeable and caring, and always takes a TON of time to visit with me and my family. We went through a period last year where my daughter was having some testing done, and when I called to talk to Dr. Mayer about it, she spent 20 or 30 minutes on the phone with me after work discussing them. Just above and beyond. She came recommended to me by other pediatricians in the area, as well. LOVE her!
I really don't know how we got so lucky in finding a great pediatrician. Not only is Dr. Mayer great, but several other physicians in the practice that we have seen are wonderful as well. There is always lots of support for the parents from all of the physicians. The only challenge is that my son always seems to get sick on Dr. Mayer's days off! She is a working mom too which is also nice because she relates to day care and other working mom issues.
