Dr. Pereda and his staff are highly professional and they listened to my concerns. I was treated for pain in the lower extremities. He ran tests to rule out peripheral arteries clot. I will return in 2 weeks for follow up and tests results.
I had spider vein injections and was aggressively injected by Dr Pereda causing veins to explode and many of the injections were done outside the veins. This caused several large ulcers, infections and necrotic tissue. The doctor and his staff did not seem concerned or competent enough to repair the damage. As best he could. One and a half ye... read more
Great attention and care. I am glad Dr Pereda is my doctor.
I had spider vein injections and was aggressively injected causing veins to explode and many injections were done outside the veins causing several large ulcers, infection and necrotic tissue. The doctor and his staff did not seem competent enough to repair the damage and after six weeks I had to seek treatment by a wound care specialist, who has been working for 8 months to help with my healing. Not a vascular surgeon I recommend
I personally had a terrible experience. I went to inject a superficial vein on my lower leg and ended up with a DVT. I was told that the injection was pretty safe since it only has a 1% chance of a blood clot. Not only that I was not scheduled for a follow-up until a month after the surgery, making matters worse. My advise is do your homework before this or any other procedure.
Business response:
I am sincerely sorry you had a negative experience. I don't take any, even minor, complications lightly. A distal tibial DVT at the level of the ankle has no long term consequences vs a "major" DVT, which you did not suffer. I never encourage a person to undergo an elective procedure if they aren't strongly motivated to do so. It saddens me to see I may no longer provide you comfort or perspective. I still encourage you to get a second opinion to help gain perspective regarding your concerns.
