I broke my right wrist & Dr. Kelley surgically repaired my break on June 27, 2024. The surgery went fine & I was in a splint initially & was then switched to a velcro strap wrist brace which stops several inches below the elbow. My surgery was performed at the Chandler Regional Hospital. There is definitely pain (no sense in sugar-coating it) associated with the surgery but the "trick", if any, is not to get behind the pain meds & take them as prescribed.
